Improving health at work through physiotherapy and ergonomics
Well Being Workshops

At Red Kite we strongly believe that prevention is better than cure when it comes to keeping your employees fit and healthy in the workplace. We provide a number of specialist workshops aimed at improving your workplace well being. Some examples are provided below; please contact us with your needs and we will create a specialised programme for you e.g. during Back Care Week in October (www.backcare.org.uk ); Work out at Work Day in June (www.csp.org.uk). 
A full day programme could include for example; face-to-face physio advice sessions, a lunchtime posture workshop
plus some seated acupressure massages.

Positive Back Care (Based on a Department of Health award winning programme implemented for the NHS)

 60 minute workshop covers the following:

  • Back pain and its causes
  • Basic anatomy and biomechanics
  • Posture
  • Preventing pain
  • Managing pain
  • Q & A

Posture Workshop
60 minute posture workshop which covers the following:
  • Correct standing and sitting posture
  • How to improve posture
  • Stretches for home and work to improve posture
  • Q & A

Office Pilates 
30 minute introduction to pilates at your desk
  • Simple, gentle pilates-based exercises in the office
  • No equipment or sports wear required

Manual Handling Training (inanimate loads)

Half day course designed for employees who are carrying out manual handling tasks as part of their role.
The course covers:
  • Tailored content based on companies requirements
  • Basic anatomy and biomechanic
  • Relevant legislation
